Kudrle Bed and Breakfast!
It is hard to believe how quickly time flies. In just a short period of time we have had 5 guests! Lexi's family was in town for a short 4 days and in that time they were able to see and experience Lexi's hard work at school by actually getting massages, see the plane that Brian is flying and sit in it, hit up the white sand beaches, watch both the Ice Pilots and Brian play hockey (to which he of course scored a goal!), and as you can
see at your left, play the occasional video game . It was great to have them and as always they were a bundle of fun with laughs that never stopped. Just a few days ago we decided to again embrace the Redneck within ourselves and head out to the dirt race track up in Milton with a bunch of friends. It was incredibly loud and dusty; however there is something exciting about seeing the cloud of dust rise up and engulf us as old beat up cars slam into each other. About 2 weeks after Lexi's parents left, Jess Hayes (one of Lexi's Bridesmaids and LONG TERM
friend) was in town for about 3 days. Arriving in on Palm Sunday, she encountered some travel problems but managed to make her way down to us. While she was here much time was spent on the beach (shopping!) and at the pool sun bathing along with excursions into downtown Pensacola for some "NY Style Pizza" and girl talk. To our surprise, downtown Pensacola, is nothing like where we live--it is beautiful down there: parks, piers, and expensive yachts. We had a blast hosting her and
we're sorry to see her leave. We are now waiting to pick up Brian's Parents from the airport. Our next set of guests arrives just as Jess leaves. Derek will be stayin with us here at home while Mom and Dad stay at a local hotel. While we have no idea what we are going to do with them, we do know that it will be hot (85 degrees!) and so the pool and beach are most likely going to be in order, with a trip to see where Brian works and trains. It is sad to say this, but just this week Brian's ice hockey
season here in Pensacola ended. He has been playing hockey for many months now, and it has been a great outlet for the stress of work and school. Who knows what Brian will do after this, maybe softball with his squadron up at Whiting field, but nothing is set in stone. Not to worry though, Brian went out with a bang, scoring the final goal to tie up the game. Brian is also getting ready to finish up Primany in the next 4-5 weeks. While that may seem far away to most of you, time has gone so fast here. We will shortly know what Brian will be flying! Lexi is just under the 2 month mark to finish up school and shortly will be a LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) once she passes her national boards.
The next few months will be exiciting ones for the Kudrle family here in Pensacola and we look foard to sharing that with you once the news comes about! :-) God Bless You All this Easter Sunday, may we truly remember what we are celebrating--the death of our Lord for our sins & ETERNAL LIFE!
